Bullying (Short and Sweet)

I have thought about bullying and the one phrase I wish parents, grandparents, siblings would stop telling young kids is:

"Sticks and stones may break my bone but words will never hurt me"

Sorry for the language but This phrase is Bullshit.

Words do hurt and sadly in recent years many young children have hurt themselves to get away from the words. I am not by any means advocating violence.

What I am advocating is let's teach kids that words can really hurt someone and the hurt can last as long or longer than a black eye.
